I have bbk shorties and have had no complaints.
I know everyone wants l/t's for power advantages, but "budget"
minded individuals would do well to consider shorties as well.
Improved sound and low-end torque for $320 is a bargain in my book.

I'm going to take a look at the Pacesetters, everything else is too much, considering I still need a new suspension setup too. I'll probably do the suspension right, then save money in the headers

Is there any sort of DIY ceramic-like coating that one could put on, say the Pacesetters?

I have JBA shorties with ceramic coating... They looked great out of the box but now.... that coating as since pretty much worn off and some corrosion is showing. I have had for porbably 3 years now. I will be changing to kooks LT's later on.
