Default Looking for opinions on front ends

My parents might be paying to repaint my car as a graduation gift (several dents and scratches from the previous owner).
With that being said I am considering a few mods before it gets painted assuming we go through with painting it. I plan on shaving the antenna off if I can and then maybe a new front end and possibly hood.
I would love the GT500 front end but last time I looked into it (a couple years ago) the price was out of my range. Have prices changed any? Is it possible to piece a front end together for fairly reasonable price?

If I cant afford the GT500 than I will probably end up going GT/CS

check out the GT500 Conversion sticky, should give you an idea of the parts and cost involved.

Most other front bumpers you can get away with reusing stock lights, grilles and such.

Still need some parts for the Cervinis bumper on mine, decisions, decisions...

Ive looked through the sticky in the past end even made a detailed list with prices and links for all of the required parts but ended up loosing it over the years. I was hoping to hear from anyone who has pieced parts together to save money or if anyone has tips on doing it cheaply.

The thread quoted something along the lines of $2k with paint. If I could get it for under $1k without paint I think I could manage. Otherwise its GT/CS for me.

GT 500 front end is $1500+ without paint... more towards the $2k and that's not including a hood or anything. Really is pretty ridiculous.

I've personally done the GT500 front end conversion, and you're easily talking $1,500-$2,000 with paint.

If $1,000 is you're budget, sounds like the GT/CS front bumper is for you.

Good luck!

There are a few other vendors offering kits but generally around the same price and you still have to pay shipping. People who got their "kits" from sites like Tousley Ford got a decent deal compared to these prices when they were paying $1200-1500. Shipping is a killer too.

You could save a few bucks by going with a chin spoiler like this to make a great looking front end and throw down the rest on a great looking hood!

And to go along with what Nam said... Maybe a new grille or something to give you a fresh look?

Are there any cheap aftermarket options for GT500 Grilles? I saw one at AM but it was an overlay. If there is anything aftermarket that could potentially replace the ~$300+ OEM option that would help too. What about aftermarket lights? Anything cheaper than OEM?
I still dont think I can manage the price but Im going to keep looking.
Heres some rough data I put together
