Help decide on which axle-back
The exhaust on my 13 GT/CS is too quiet. Ive narrowed down axle backs and need input from forum members that have heard some of these axle backs. Im not looking for a loud exhaust..... because I take long trips... just something that stands out when I get on it!
I am aware that there are other brands out there but I am on a budget!
Please dont tell me I should get this or that or that I should "spend a little more"to get what you recommend .....I am sure the axle-backs that you have are great, Im not interested about axle-backs outside of my budget!
Here they are.....the best price that I found on each one are for American Muscle;
1) I do not know anything about MBRP! They sell a pro series.
2) Ford racing GT500 style.
3) Flowmaster american thunder.
Any input from Mustang enthusiasts will help!
Thanx for any info

MBRP products are quality. I had one of their systems on my camaro.
the GT500 mufflers have an OEM look / fit / finish and are what you describe - quiet enough for the most part unless you're on it
I am not a fan of flowmaster.
the roush axle backs sound amazing but may be slightly louder than you are looking for.
youtube videos do not sound justice.. if you have the option of meeting with any locals.. hear em in person first!!

I went from magnaflow streets to the gt500s and couldn't be happier. I was looking for a deep muscle sound that gets attention, but not over powering. At cruising speed you can barely and I mean barely hear em. No drone what so ever. I've heard the flowmasters and even drove around with them. They sounded good, but felt my neighbors might not like them to well. The sound clips do not do any justice for the exhaust.
