Anyone mount 17's on '12 or '13 that came with 18's?

Anyone mount 17's on '12 or '13 that came with 18's?
Getting ready for winter here and will be driving my '13 MCA edition through the winter. Looking at buying a set of wheels with winter tires for the winter months. Considering 17's as they are a lot cheaper for winter tires and the taller sidewall will be better too. Anyone know if these will fit over the brakes? My car is a v6 premium with the MCA package. I didn't get the performance package or upgrade the brakes.

I did read somewhere where a guy put some AM 17x10 bullitts with 295/45/17 Mickey Thompsons on his 2012 for racing. He said they worked great.
I ordered the exact combo for my 2006 and this is what happened. Rear swaybar bracket sheared off the weights as I backed out of my warehouse. Call up AM and ask them to be sure.
