my 06 gt was flooded in the hurrican water up to the dash, car battery has power but nothing works, lights gauges windows etc. car poured water out exhaust after trying to push start. i checked oil is good engine will manually crank with wrench. im leaning towards electric prob, someone told me of master fuse but cant find it. any help???

You would be wise to have an adjuster look at it especially if you have full coverage. These cars have a lot of small electronics that will short if the get wet and it can be a nightmare to figure it out. With that much water I would believe an insurance company would total it.

well in that case id start with replacing all fuses and get carpet dryers in that car

I would rip all the interior components out, seats/carpet/center console, check all the metal parts and ensure they are dry and not rusting. Saltwater is incredible with what it does to metal and stainless steel can't even stand the test of time with saltwater. For the electrical like above stated, replace all the fuses, check the SJB in the passenger kick panel that would of been underwater, get that dried out because that controls almost all the electronics.

Don't try to start yourself. Have a mechanic look at it. Water could get in a cylinder and lock up the motor

Flooding here from Sandy as well, Geico deemed total loss. Get on that insurance bro, in these cases, it's a life saver.

i would strip it down as best as possible and remove battery asap
