Default brake lag and steering wheel shake?

Any idea on what is happening? Whenever I apply the brakes on my mustang there seems to be brake lag. Kind of like rubbing a curb with your tire but I am not actually doing that. Also, when the brakes are applied my steering wheel shakes. Could it be the rotors or brake pads? I know turning won't help **** if its the rotors..

Machine the rotors. The vibration is the pads bouncing against the rotors. May also be the cause of the "brake lag" you are talking about.

Definitely a warped rotor.
