Exclamation Water is FLOODING my car, PULLING HAIR OUT! TSB 07-14-06 - Will PAY for help!!

The issue I'm having is http://www.stangpit.com/wp-content/i...b/07-14-06.pdf

I understand that and I understand how common it is..

however I am not an ASE certified mechanic so all these technical jargon terms are REALLY making me pull my hair out.. I have spend 5 hours researching, reading, looking at pictures.. I didn't even know what a cowel was!!

I tried 2 remove my cowel and I had plastic snaps flying everywhere, I am PHYSICALLY unable to remove the wiper blades.

every day its raining and under the passenger seat has become POOL of water and its REALLY stressing me out..

I know people post these PLLLLEEAAAADDDDDDS about this issue, only to get a link and a locked thread but I REALLY need help

CAN ANYONE PLEASE MAKE A VIDEO THAT SHOWS HOW TO FIX THIS PROBLEM SINCE FORD WON'T?

TEXT/PICS AREN'T HELPING ME AT ALL..

PLEASE.. IF SOMEONE LITERALLY made a 10 minute video and charged $35.00 to view it, they'd probably be a millionaire in 2 years.. this is outrageous!

I am BEGGING anyone to do this.. I brought it to Ford Dealership and they want $100.00 an hour and it said it may take up to 7 hours to diagnose the issue and test other issues.. I dont have $700!

Pleaaaaase I'm BEGGING anyone here, I'll even pay you $100 on paypal, please just make a video and finally end this horrible issue that these cars have that Ford turns our back on because they have our money already

You don't need to remove the wiper blades to get into there, just gently move the plastic shroud out of the way enough to get your hand in there.

If you have twiggy arms you dont even have to open up the cowl. You can reach down and pull the grommet out from the bottom.
Edit: I should elaborate on this by saying that I mean you can reach this plug without opening the cowl. Although it only takes 2 minutes to fully access the cowl.

Mine recently was blocked up and hurricane Sandy dumped enough rain to fill the cowl until it poured into the cabin. Took about 15 minutes to fully fix it. No sweat.

As for the other grommet, no issues there yet.

If you are not mechanically inclined, then I implore you to find a good shop or pay Ford to perform the fix and to properly clean and protect the SJB.

It's not the matter of unclogging leaves, there is an electrical hub at the passenger floor (SJB - Smart Junction Box), because of this water leak a lot of times water gets into the SJB and causes all kinds of problems. This panel is located on the passenger floor right side, the kick panel covers it up.

I dont seem to have any issues from that, but what should be tested/how?

The Ford dealership knows of this problem it's all but protocol now to check other potential problems when this happens and also it's a way for them to possibly make some easy money

You can buy a battery terminal puller at any chain part house for about $5. Use this to get the wipers off of the stems. Pulling the cowl cover is easy then. You may want to seal the grommets and put a new cabin air filter in there while your doing. Use automotive seam sealer and a caulk gun to seal the grommets. Seam sealer is aviable at any automotive paint supply store. Should cost about $15-$20. Good Luck
