Default Is there way to verify charge motion plates opening?

Last test and tune of the year. Track was cold, but ambient was around 70F.

Last time at the track, she blew code P0300. The computer knew of a miss, just not why. Replaced plugs, hasn't tossed this code again.

First run, did a normal burn out to warm up the Nittos.. let off the brake and the driver side gripped. Crap... Limited slip gone. Fried on 2nd gear shift on the run. Mid 14s.

Second run, limited slip still gone, so didn't push the launch, but it's still in line of my other runs. Was proud of shifts, sure I was finally in the 13s... Nope. 14.365. Crap.

All other 3V's were in the 13s. Some in the mid 13s. Pretty much full second faster. Even talked to a couple guys who were also basically stock like myself.

So, why do I have a dog?

Is there a way to verify that both charge motion plates open? That's about the only thing I can think of.

I would think it would throw a code if they weren't opening properly.

You still have your CMDPs on with your Hot Rod cams? I tried that and immediately knew that I needed the delete plates. My car ran much better - both on the low-end and top RPM - after I removed my CMDPs.

What are the CMPs for??? I've read bottom end torque. You give up gas mileage with deletes?

They're mechanical.. if the computer sends it a signal.. is that all it reads??? Remember 3 mile island? (same issue, signal was sent, mechanical valve never responded)

???

I removed mine as well when I did cams and headers. It was suggested by many including Brenspeed so I did it. It's certainly easy enough to do.

I didn't lose any bottom-end torque when I put on the CMDPs. The Brenspeed tune actually increased it - or so my butt meter said.

I didn't lose any fuel economy with the delete plates, and my exhaust tone got deeper - not sure why. CMDPs are a must for aftermarket cams IMO!
