My new Stang gets here in a few weeks, and it will be my every day driving car. Just curious if other posters are in the same boat or if their Stangs are purely recreational

The Mustang is my hobby car. I have an old beater I use for every day. If something happens to that I will not be too concerned.
Alos, I live in Canada. There is no way to keep a vehicle in good condition here in the winter so I will park my baby for the winter. The road conditions here are so bad in the winter that there is no way to enjoy a performance car anyway so I park it for that reason also. Also, idiots + icy roads = accidents. Another reason to drive a beater in the winter. For me the hardest part of owning a Mustang will be going from late october to mid april without driving it!
Maybe I should move to the US....

My Tacoma stayed in the family (father bought it) so I can drive that when the weather gets bad. But my Mustang is now my daily driver.

Recreation only, this is my poor mans Ferrari, If i drove it Daily it would look like crap very soon up here in the NE, i drive over 100 miles a day to work, so... not for me, [sm=badbadbad.gif]

everyday however, it won't be used in the snow we have truck for that kind of stuff. I couldn't not drive it everyday i love it to much! it takes extra care but is worth it

Unfortunately, I couldn't keep my prior car -- needed to use it to pay off this 'Stang, plus cheaper insurance, etc. Worse yet, my commute is around 70 miles roundtrip. Uggghh. But I'm all smiles to and from work now!

Mine is a daily driver for now... I can't afford 2 new cars at once.. LOL.. so.. driving this one while I watch for a good beater car to pick up for the winter months.

Daily Driver here. Goal is to have daily driver that pulls 1g on skidpad and does 12s in the 1/4 mile.
