Default Installed Shelby Quad Exhaust need some advice

I installed the 2013 quad exhaust on my gt mustang and I was hoping for a little deeper sound. It definitely sounds better than stock, but it has a little popping sound that I really don't care much for. I was wondering if adding a h-pipe or the boss quad exhaust setup or removing resonators would help? Any advice to make my exhaust more deeper tone and take out the pop/raspy sounds?

Thanks

the popping is pretty standard with any exhaust setup.. mainly at decel/engine braking and sometimes on a good solid aggressive high rpm shift.

your car already has an H pipe, although it's a little restrictive.

most of the sound is due to the pipe sizing and the mufflers.. and H pipe vs X pipe sound a lot different, too. the resonator's typically quiet the system down and remove a little rasp, straight pipes would be a little raspier. I would personally look into an X pipe and slightly larger mid pipes too.

my two cents.

I had the Pypes X-Pipe system installed, resonator delete and Flowmaster A/T axlebacks

I also have a box of ST BBK headers sitting in my living room. They were going to go on the 2011, but 24 hours after the mod was done, I traded it on a 2013 (but I beat the living hell out of the car for 24 hours.)
