2012 Mustang - Radio won't go off after visit to dealer?
I have a 2012 Mustang 5.0, Two days ago I had it in the shop to have the seats replaced, they were starting to shred.. I brought the car home, parked it and then went to leave today and the battery was dead. I jumped the car off, and now the radio won't turn off.. What the heck did those idiots at the service center do?

So I removed the battery cable for 10 mins, put it back on, still came back on with the key out (As did the AC for about 30 seconds). I then pulled the radio fuse, put it back in and now it's working correctly.. :/

Keep an eye on the vehicle to see if it exhibits the symptoms again. If so, take it back to your dealership so they can inspect. Additionally, I'm happy to get your case escalated to your region's customer service manger. They'll coordinate with your dealership to ensure that your concerns are addressed. Send me a PM with your VIN, dealer, mileage, daytime phone number, and full name; I'll do the rest!
Have a great weekend,

Don't decide whether to buy a car based on the fact that a customer service rep is on an Internet forum. From what I have read, the Internet rep doesn't do anything that you couldn't have done by a rep if you called on the phone. If you notice the type of things the reps deal with, for the most part it's getting the dealer to do something that a good dealer would have done already. A customer rep not going to actually fix your car. I'd check the various enthusiast forums and the NHTSA complaint website. If there's a major change in the car from the prior year, I wouldn't buy it until the manufacturer gets at least some of the inevitable bugs fixed, or you decide you can live with the reported issues.

Thanks for the shout-out! Feel free to contact me directly (via PM) if you have any questions or concerns. Additionally, once the time comes, let me know if you end up ordering a new 'Stang. I'm happy to track its journey from the plant to your dealership for you.
Thanks again,
Crystal
