First off, if you were humble, you wouldn't feel the need to chime in on a thread that has nothing to do with you...only to voice an opinion
Second I would agree with you to a degree with the 2010+ oem shifter, it is much better looking than our 2005-2009 oem shifter and is not a total plastic pos.

Just my humble opinion here but I don't see where you guys think this shifter looks better than the OEM one. This one looks really out of place where the OEM one looked perfect but as long as you like it OP that's all that matters.
Everyone is entitled to their opinion, I am very happy with it, The construction on it is much better than the OEM. If the 11's came with the sport shift mode like the 13's I wouldn't have changed it out.

Thanks man, and thanks to everyone that provided feedback.

having problems with my TCI shifter. Down shifter from drive to 3rd is good. From 3rd to 2nd to 1st is hard to shift to. Up shifting works good. When i keep it in drive it shifts fine. I only had it in my car for 4 days. What would be the problems with the shifter? Or could be even the shifter cable.

I picke dup one of the TCI shifters today, brand new and still in box for $325. Looking to install it this weekend hopefully. My question is for those that switched out the handle to something more custom, how did that affect the overdrive button?

On the TCI shifter there's a over drive button right above were the park light, lights up you just push it for on/off function.

I saw that once I actually picked it up in person. Thanks! I was playing with it last night, and it looks pretty cool. The ratchet mechanism seems to be pretty good. Of course, I was playing with it out of the box and not installed. Guess I need to actually put it in to get it to come back out of park, lol.

Good luck with the install. The most difficult aspect is getting the cable clip to release without breaking it. Remember not to move the position of the cable or you will need to realign the gear positions.
