Default Roush rear spring install..

So I picked up a set of roush rear springs for my 06, install seems pretty straight forward, any tips or tricks from guys who have done them already that I should know about?

Just that you should get an adjustable panhard bar to even out the rear axle after it's lowered. I have the Roush springs. Pretty straight forward install but the axle needed to be moved to the left after the drop.

just finished the install, didn't use an adjustable panhard bar, but the axle looks straight and don't even think I need it. Ill drive it around tomorrow and see in the daylight though for sure.

It will look straight but you have to measure the distance between the wheel well and edge of the tires. Willing to bet one wheel is closer to the edge than the other.

I run Roush rear springs too. You might want to trim your stock rear bumpstops a little bit, or install the FRPP set.

Any time you lower or raise an S197, the rear axle shifts to one side. An adjustable panhard bar is the only cure. It might look straight, but you have to measure.

just measured, the drivers side wheel sticks out less than a 1/2" in comparison to the passenger side.. honestly this doesn't even bother me and its not noticeable at all to the naked eye. I really don't want to bother with a pan hard bar unless i'm looking at negative effects in the long term by running it this way. Input is appreciated, thanks!

yeah, if you're running wide rims and tires out back, you really won't notice it...unless you study it, or break out a tape measure......and from your signature, it appears you're running 20x8.5/9's at all 4 corners, so you'll be fine

congrats on the springs!

others will see you crabbing down the road. adjustable panhard bars are not that expensive, just go get one, you won't be sorry. compared to what $ you invested it is really cheap, plus the springs will settle a little and rear will shift some more.

If you ever launch hard and hook, your car will want to go in the opposite direction that the rear axle is offset. If you can live with that, then you're fine.
