so my dad's battery died in his 06 gt and now he is hearing a buzzing sound coming from the trunk. he pulled back the carpet and found this little speaker/box type thing that the buzz is coming from. no clue what the box is or how to make the buzz stop. i have a picture but can't post it cause i just registered for the forum :/

Some of these for some reason have an extra speaker in the rear that sounded only when the alarm was going off, I recall hearing a distinctly different honking sound coming from the rear of the car when I hit the remote panic button on my '07. It's basically an extra horn, I never knew exactly where it was located though. It may just be best to disconnect it if it won't quit sounding.
