The sticker is the easiest way to tell. Get under the rear of the car and there should be a sticker on the lower part of the diff. If for whatever reason there is not, take Moosestang's advice.
The sticker would account for the FACTORY gear ratio, not the AFTERMARKET gear ratio. The situation at hand is what gears are in the car, the RPM at 70 will tell you what it is without jacking it up N shiz.

Nah man, install shops throw on a new sticker when they do gear installs. They *should* anyway. My shop put a 4.10 sticker on mine.
