pulley tool

There are three threaded holes in the pulley. A type of puller that matches up with that is needed. Probably ask to rent a harmonic balancer puller. Remove the center bolt and washer, install the puller and good luck.

I know the chrysler pulley is recommended for removing the stock pulley, just unsure if that would fit the steeda pulley.

A hooked jaw type (Chrysler if you insist) is needed to remove the stock pulley. The Steeda uses a regular harmonic balancer type puller that bolts up to pull it off. I have done this job about half-dozen times.

Ask the local autozone/pepboys/advance/oreilly's auto parts for the chrysler harmonic balancer puller. Make sure you know how to use it correctly. I rented one that had a crushed bearing because some other jackass didn't know what he was doing.
