Default Best/Cheapest snow tire/wheel combo 2011 Brembo Brakes

I just bought myself a 2011 GT with Brembo brakes on New Years Eve, late xmas present to myself.

I was trying to find the cheapest/best snow tire and wheel combo for car the since I do live in Michigan. Already driven it down an icy road on all-weather tires, without weight in the trunk yet, that was a bit of a slidefest.

Now there is weight in the trunk but I still would like to get snow tires.

I was searching the forum and I couldn't find anything recent within the last two years or anything that pointed out a sure package for a GT with the Brembo brake package. I was just looking for a cheap wheel that's tried and true and for sure fits over the calipers and a tire to put on it without it hopefully costing an arm and a leg.

Thanks for all the help guys!

hard to find 'cheap' wheels that fit over the brakes. next year I may purchase some AMR wheels from american muscle as my winter beaters. they are not expensive at all and they look good.

Yeah, I figured cheap would be a relative term when it comes to fitting over these brakes.

any package that fits a 07-12 GT500 will fit your car perfectly. Search in that direction. Good luck.

Haha I was thinking about buying some cheap replica wheels to replace my Forgestars in the winter. But then I decided to just go ahead, and run the stock wheels in the winter instead. It's been a pretty light winter here, in VA, so I just use all season tires: Pirelli P Zero Neros. AmericanMuscle had these black, 5-spoke Shelby replica wheels, but unfortunately they don't fit over my Brembos

yeah, I should have kept my stock wheels for this purpose, too.

yeah they do. Anything that is a fitment for a GT500 will fit, including those "replicas"

Ah, okay. Looks like I got the wrong information. It doesn't matter anymore anyway
