BSmoke had a set up like your and he passed, you should send him a PM.
On a side note on my '03 Impala they ran a scan and only checked for thrown codes. Had to change a gas-cap for that one before it passed.
Very helpful.

I'm going to try to return the car to the stock tune where the rear O2's are turned on and O2 relocaters installed to see if it throws codes for inefficiency. I will report the results of my experiment for future reference as I see a lack of info on here concerning the new 5.0. If all else fails, I'll just spring for a catted x-pipe and still use the relocators come inspection time.

Texas is every single year for car inspections. If you live in an EPA designated Non-attainment county, you must do the sniff test every year. The only exception is brand new cars can go 2 years w/o being inspected. After that, you have to go every year
I guess my 2012 was sitting on a lot for awhile because my inspection appears to have been done in November 2011 as it expires this November. I bought the car last April.

Personally, I live in Texas and I have a shop who has passed my illegal truck, my old illegal Mustang, and he'll pass my currently catless Mustang. You can probably find a hundred shops who will do the same, but they'll all tell you the same thing, "if you get pulled over, you got this done after I inspected it". Hahahaha and 90% of the time cops don't check for that crap anyways.

I want to get a 2010 V6 Mustang, yank the drivetrain, computer, and wiring harness, and put a 347 stroker with dual-quads in it. I'm gonna have to pick my inspection station carefully.
