I may at some point go turbo but for now I enjoy the smooth come on of power through the centri supercharger.

I don't disagree with ya at all. ;-)
My wife had a VW passat 1.8 turbo and the turbo kicked in at higher RPMS. I could beat her off the line, but when she hit higher MPH, she would pull on me quick!
