Looking at Turbo Mustang
I currently have a 06 Mustang gt that is manual, but i have been looking at other mustangs and i have found a 06 mustang gt that has a turbo kit on it. The reason why i am hesitant to get it is because it is an automatic but i might be willing to deal with it. What should i do?

Don't settle
If you want a manual trans, don't settle. I would not be as happy if my car was an auto (no offense). Why don't you invest in a supercharger for your 06? I went with the Roush M90 in my 07 GT convert and I love it.

I'd also much rather have a supercharged mustang than a turbo mostly because s/c is much much more common on these cars

I'm in the same boat.. it'd have to be one awesome car and for a really good deal for me to get an auto. It's just not nearly as fun to drive.. even a 5 speed in a little 150hp Mazda Protege makes it feel sporty and fun

Turbo and automatic are like cake and ice cream...they belong together! I'd be more weary of the tune and whether or not the motor has had any work performed than the auto trans.
Kev, people SAY that turbos don't make torque but I have seen plenty of dyno readings that prove otherwise.

turbos can make low end torque. It all depends on the size of the turbo and when it hits max spool. A smaller turbo will spool sooner and hit full boost early increasing the torque peak, however sacrifice top end power. A large turbo will max boost later but have less peak torque however carry hp and tq later in the curve to a higher value
