Exclamation Help! DSS driveshaft is too short.

I started my DSS driveshaft install around 1pm today. I bolted up the front of the driveshaft but I can't bolt up the rear because the driveshaft seems to be too short. I've installed the black adapter plate to the pinion but there's a big gap between the pinion and driveshaft as you can see in this picture...

No instructions were included. Is there a particular order that the driveshaft needs to be installed like rear first and then front or vice versa?

Anyone here have a DSS driveshaft that can shed some light on this issue?

Thanks!

I think they sent you the one for the 6060 rather than your 3650.

I assume you didn't make any huge changes to the rear suspension members.

The driveshaft was made to order and this is the label on the box. Pretty sure it's the right one.

I have an adjustable UCA, solid LCA's and adjustable panhard bar.

Pull it! It has to extend and contract a little bit.

Do you have the adapter on the pinion flange? It looks like you do, but it's hard to tell.

Isn't it a slip yoke style driveshaft? Pull it. It will reach.

Mine was the same. I put two bolts in through the front but only a couple of turns not tight. Then got the rear bolts in. Adjust your UCA to close the gap. When your able to get the bolts in there it will close the space. I had my UCA adjusted as close as possible towards the front of the car.

After you get it all tight then adjust your UCA so the distance between the DS and the cv is 3 5/8. Their sticker says between 3.25-3.75. I did that and had a vibration between 21-29 mph. Their tech said 3 5/8 is the ideal measurement. Also measure from the middle of the shaft. Not the top or bottom.

I haven't tried pulling on the driveshaft. Didn't know it's supposed to extend (Thanks DSS for not including instructions). I do have the adapter on the pinion flange. It's a CV style ds.

I'll try it and see how it goes. Thanks guys!

I emailed DSS asking for instructions. They emailed back....it's a simple bolt on. Lol
