Default 03-04 Terminator vs 07 Gt500 vs 2011-up GT

Im having a hard time trying to figure out which of these cars will be my next. The Terminator is obviously the cheapest of these, but trying to find a low mileage unabused one is getting harder and harder. Not to mention I have a hard time paying 25k for a 10 year old car. Im also a sucker for the newer bodystyle, having owned a 06 GT in the past, and I can get a 07 gt500 for 32k. But, on the same note, nothing beats having a new car, I can get a new 2013 for 37k or less. I know any of these will easily give me the 500-600hp I desire. My only issue with any of these cars is I have issues with my knees and would rather have an automatic transmission, which I can get on the new GT...I know, its sacrilege, it would be my first automatic sportscar, having owned 5 mustangs, and 2 other sportscars. I thought of getting a termi or gt500 and swapping in a built automatic. What are your thoughts? By the way, Im looking at convertibles.

I met a guy yesterday who bought an 03 termi with a blown motor for 3k, he drove 10 hours down south to get it, then he had a friend who had swapped in a built termi motor with a tvs blower putting out 600hp to the wheels into his car and rolled it, so he bought that for 4k. With maintenance parts, and supplies to build his cowl hood, and paint, hes got a sweet 03 cobra with 600 hp and nice paint for, gasp, 8k! I was sickened...

I would go with a nice Black 07 GT500, but that's just me. Since you are wanting an automatic then you should just go with the new GT, unless you have the time and money to swap in an automatic in the 07 or 03, BUT, like u said, an automatic in a cobra or gt500 is not right, lol

New one. The new motor kicks ***, and the suspension isn't bad either. Leaps and bounds beyond the others thigh.

Dont worry about going auto. Mine is Manual now but I am in the same boat. To many years in the Marine Corps. My knees aint what they used to be. I will soon go with a built auto I am sure. Comfort should always come into play when buying a vehicle. If you cant feel good when driving a stick, there is no shame in letting the car do it.

Auto = newer GT, and IMO Terminator > GT500....I've owned both and so far the Terminator is by far my favorite.

...but I will say that I've been eyeing BOSS 302's lately, so I'd probably sell if the time (and money) was right.

Termi! Will you find one new....no way. I think the Termi will hold great value over time (look at the price they still demand after 10 years).
