What's more beneficial for us...strut tower brace, or subframe connectors?
I made a small order from Summit last week, and on my order invoice they gave me $20 in summit bucks for my next order of $100 or more (which is funny because my order was only $55)
Anyway, it doesn't expire until August, but I was looking at some stuff I could get with it. Summit carries both Granatelli's subframe connectors (which I like), and several strut tower braces (though I have no idea who makes the best one, I like UMI's), which are all around the same price.
What's the better purchase?

Same here. Makes the front end not as wobbly. I really notice it driving around town. When you make turns in town and have to drive through the drain gutters in the middle of the road, the front end is tied together much better. No it is not intended for track use and granted I am not pulling my front end off of the ground either. It does keep the front end pulled together. Picture a box with the top cut out of it. Not much support at all. The top can still move. Tie the top together and it will improve somewhat. That is why they have a top in a van trailer. Take off the top and lthe sides fall out. On a factory Mustang GT w/ 19" wheels you get a strut tower brace. Reckon Ford actually knows what they are doing sometimes?

The strut tower brace is such a quick and easy install, seems like a no brainer to me. From what I've read, the subframe connectors are not necessary at all unless you're doing some real serious driving on the track.
I have the single bar Roush piece that I got for $65 on clearance. It does firm up the front end a bit in corners.

I put a Strange Engineering strut brace on my '06 GT 'Vert. I think it made a difference, maybe not huge, but an improvment. I figured it couldn't help but stiffen up a convertible. I'm not sorry I installed it.
