Can't you at least suggest a beater Mustang? lol. They have been making them since '64, surely there must be something that he could buy with cash. Otherwise, this is some solid advice.

I agree with the above post, buy economical and used until out of school and working for better money. Then buy a Certified Used Ford Mustang with the bells and whistles you want. Online is the best source. I did it and found exactly what I wanted and the color. Be patient -- it's WORTH IT. GV

Im not sure if you noticed, but the blue Mustang is a GT Deluxe and the red Mustang is a GT Premium. Not a huge differance, but it is something else to consider.

the 09 will hold its value better as it is an anniversary model. Also, what else was done with the blue one besides throwing the blower on? was the fuel system upgraded or tuned correctly?

I am making enough money that I want to drive something I like. I have a decent down payment and either note will come out to roughly $290 a month plus considering gas and insurance already, I'll be fine.

(Also never been a big fan on imports so the Honda is a no go.)

Does anyone know what all came in the 2008 Roush Performance package Mustang GT? I saw one today and test drove it at the dealership a few miles from work during lunch. Seemed to handle well and drive good and has the Roush Performance package... Just wondering what all is in it.

If anyone knows.

Thanks guys!

Sorry for the double post, it will not let me edit my previous post. Maybe cause I'm still a new member?

Anyways does anyone know what all was part of the Buillt Package for 2008? Thanks. So 2008 Buillt package and the 2008 Roush Performance Package.

Thanks guys.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ford_Mu...variants#Roush

make sure it's actually a roush and not just a couple of parts slapped on and them claiming it's a roush

id go for red, seems to be more taken care of, and just seems like a reliable car.

Red because it's non-supercharged.

I don't want ANYTHING to do with one someone else installed.

If I'm going to blow an engine, I'd want it to be my mods that did it. Not someone else's.
