older gt or newer gt

In this topic, everyone likes whatever car they own and diss the car they don't own just because of bias.
WITH THAT BEING SAID, I like the 13/14's more than my own 2012. But I still think the 2010-2012's look/perform a zillion times better inside and out than the 05-09.
Dang it, I'm biased too. Oh well.

I love my supercharged 06 and modding it has been an awesome experience, but if it was ever wrecked etc......I would replace with a 2013 not another 4.6.
Older Gt500's are awesome, that would be a nice move.

ok peeps.
i plan on selling me v6 in the future..now i can just stretch to a newer model v8 32 valve one.
now here in sweden they are about 10k usd more than the older motor v8..
my future plans include a supercharger (maybe 4 years time)
is the extra outlay just for the better motor worth it?
cheers rudi

I have a 2010 GT with the 4.6 3-valve engine. It's great. The 2011-14 have the 5.0, which is a lot more powerful. However, unless you plan to drag race it, is the power that important? For me, the answer was no. Others (a vast majority on this forum) would answer yes.
For me, the 5.0 would definitely not be worth the $10k premium over the 4.6.
The 4.6 will be a vast power improvement over your v6. The 5.0 will be even more powerful.

My dream car is the Ford GT. A Ferarri and Lambo eater...
They only made like 4,000 of them in the entire world. They keep increasing in value. I'm trying to start a cell phone accessary company...to accomidate that and being a home owner in Los Angeles...
With that...I will go away lol
Hail 05-09 4.6's and that MODD lifestyle!!!
