Great pics! Not fair that they put you off all the way to the side like that!

car looks NICE!! I also like what you did with the intake(painted). I also have been kicking around doing the same thing. Did you use base coat paint? And then cleared it? Thanks

To answer a couple of questions...

Letters on the trunk. They are from "Wooddashexperts - Formally knows as dashkitstore". Aluminum pieces.... you can order them made out of a selection of like 50 different options. This is also where I got the dash and console pieces.

More pics... yup.. I do...

Intake Painting... I preped it by cleaning with rubbing alcohol, then used "Plastic Paint" to prime it. (Leow's or Home Depot) -- the can will be labled "specially formulated for adhearing to plastics". Do not use regular primer.. your paint will flake off. You can put the hose back on after a couple of hours.. but have to wait a couple of days before you paint with your color paint... use Enamal paint for the color coat, and chose what finish you want when you buy the paint, I used glossy. If you use automotive color, you will have to put the flex in the paint before using it. I have removed the hose several times since painting it and there is no sign or flaking, cracking or pealing.

On the side... Actually, I liked being on the end of the row... in this case I was the first car people saw when walking up from the entrance gate. These mustangs really lood GOOD from a distance, and people had a full unobstructed view of my car being on the end.

Hey Professor - was this show in/near St. Louis?? That looks like a great show. I'm looking to travel around a little more next year with mine, and St. Louis is only about 4 hours from me. Is there a website with details about the show, so I can look it up next year?

Maybe I'll see you there next year and we can represent the cool MF'ers

Sowaxman.

Yup... In a HUGE park in South County.

The show was put on by "Show World".

http://www.showworld.net/index.htm

They put on like 8 shows a year... prizes, awards, trophies, gifties, and $$$ from a 50/50. Usually it is like $20 to register your car but the money goes to charity.

PW,

You want to bring out your car to Columbia again? We are wanting to get together again like the last time we were there. Same place and same time on October 22nd or 29th. Anyone else want to join us, please do.
