It's not 100% plug and play .... been working with another owner on getting it working. His car is at the dealer today to see if they can get it working in his 2012.
This will be interesting to see. It'll definitely open up a new door for many to spice up the interior of their 2010-2012 Mustangs. Do make sure to keep us updated and good luck!
That is a really cool looking cluster! I am going to be getting a 2014 base V6 with performance pack here soon (builds on the 29th!) and am wondering what it would entail to install this cluster in the new car I am getting. would it be easy? if so that will be the first thing i will do to the car.
As of now it appears a 2013 PCM is going to be required if you would like Track Apps and 2013 Cruise Control buttons to work .. and possibly AS BUILT updates to several other modules in the car. I am going to my dealer in the morning to get a PATS RELEARN performed so my car starts with Cluster installed - this has also been found to resolve an issue with the Factory Nav reporting an error when the 2013 cluster is installed.
so in a 2014 would it be a plug and play thing and would the track apps work. When I say plug and play i mean take it to the dealer and have them do whatever programming is needed. all I would need is a cluster?
