First time oil change, what will I need ?
No this is not my first time changing oil in a car but my first time in my Mustang.
The reason I ask is all my other vehicles were trucks so I could just crawl under and change the oil with out any ramps or a jack and of coarse I own neither of them so ill need to barrow some from the neighbor down the street. So what will work best for my Mustang a ramp or find a floor jack ? I have like 7100 miles on my car so so I'm going with Amzoil because a freind of mine is a rep for them and I can get the oil and filter at cost.

I use ramps (Rhino Ramps; the silver ones) but whatever works for you.
I can't recall if the plug requires a 15mm or 14mm socket; I change oil on way too many vehicles. I also drape a plastic bag over the line (can't recall if it's for the AC or tranny...) that oil from the filter will sometimes drip on, possibly due to the angle of the car due to the ramps, so that any oil that gets on the bag will drip into the drain pan.
Also, expect the factory filter to be on VERY tight. I had to near-destroy the old filter with a large pair of jaw-type filter remover.
And other than rags and something to put the old oil in, it's pretty simple.
All of the above is on the 4.6L. I've never been under a 5.0...

I didn't have the appropriate box wrench so I used a crescent adj... I also cheated and used a lift, but typically I use jacks and jackstands, I am always leery of the ramps cause I'm afraid I'll drive to far on em

Kidding. Nukes right on.
Quick tip. Your going to have to partially drop the belly pan on the 2011+ to get to the filter, its just a couple small (8 or 10mm bolts)
