If you're going 3.73 why not 4.10? That would be a huge improvement. X pipe is great for sound and probably will gain the most out of it if you change up the whole exhaust. New gears won't give you more power but it will definitely lower your times and improve your acceleration more than an x pipe would. Just my $0.02.

Gears. If you ever want to get LT headers you'll need to swap the midpipe at that point anyways so why not go gears now. If you're looking for faster ETs when drag racing, go 4.10s.

Make sure you don't have factory 3.55's before you go looking at 3.73's...mine does.

I would recommend going with both of them at some point! However, if you're going to pick one of these mods for now I would go with the Gears. They're definitely one of the most beneficial mods you can do when it comes to the butt dyno! You'll notice huge gains in torque and acceleration.

I hope this helps! Please let me know if you have any questions or need some assistance in the near future. Our Mustang Experts are here Monday-Friday from 9AM-9PM EST and Saturdays from 9AM-5:30PM EST. If you want to hit them up, their number is 866.727.1266. I can also have one of them call you directly.
