Very pointless...above 7000ish our power curve takes a significant drop unless you are modded to spin higher and make power that high all you are doing is shortening the life of your engine.

Holy crap! 7500? We have the same mods but I run an x-pipe which gives more top end umph than h-pipes and my HP turns downwards around 6250rpms and tq starts nosediving around 4500 or so. I need to seriously check my tune.

120 @ 5500 rpm in 4th gear is right on top of what it should be with 3.55's, so I think somebody forgot to tell your ECU about the gear swap.

7,500?? WOW, normally a stock bottom end, stock heads and cam will top out at 6,000 to 6,300.. After that, your power starts to drop off.. Oh, I have 4:10's and at 6200 I'm doing about 120.

I think your spedo is off, no way your going to hit 120 with 4:10's and only turn 5500.

I hit these speeds daily, sometimes hourly when on patrol. Now in the Mustang, at the racetrack only.
