Plasti dipped my deck lid
Pics below. It looks great and I bought enough to re-do it about 3-5 times if it ever starts peeling off. Ill let you all know how it holds up. Cost me about $60 with shipping for everything (including painters tape, etc.)

I heard its bad to do it in anything below 50 degrees. Make sure you shake the cans for a minute before applying. The top part of mine didnt come out so well but that was my own fault as I messed up the taping. After I pressure wash the car I'm going to see how well it holds up and if it holds up really well I may just peel this one off and do a new one with the top looking more crisp.

That's all I wanted to do. I've gone through one magnetic blackout panel which was $30-40 from AM, a tough plastic one that didnt line up properly and was see through which was $40-50 and that one snapped in half, and so I figured instead of going with another item is rather paint it on. Then I learned about this plasti dip stuff and for the same price as a nice blackout panel I can get the same look as it being painted on for a fraction of the cost of actually painting it on there. I purchased 3 bottles of plasti dip, 1 bottle of the "glossifier" in case I want to make it shiny, and some pre dip spray stuff to clean the area being plasti dipped. Then from Walmart I got the painters tape and some microfiber towels... ~$60 for everything and I didn't even use 1 bottle of the stuff lol. So I have plenty left over.
