heated seats install questions
So I finally ordered the AC unit with oem heated seats buttons. I am simply looking to get the oem buttons to turn the seats on or off. I cannot seem to find a wiring diagram that indicates which wires/pins on the ac unit are actually for the heated seat buttons.
Also I am having a hard time finding 2 level on/off heated seats.
Any good write ups out there on making the oem controls to work with after market seats? I searched and searched and came up with nothing. I am not looking to go full oem, just want the buttons to simply be on/off switches.
Any help or input will be greatly appreciated.

I think the problem is that the OEM switches go through the smart junction block so they aren't "real" switches like the rocker types that come with the heated seats.
if you're PCM isn't programmed for heated seats, you may have a problem trying to get them to work off OEM switch.
did you check here: http://iihs.net/fsm/?dir=40
I recommend the Dormer heated seat inserts. you can get then from advance auto and use an online coupon code to make them much cheaper.

Thanks, I had no idea advance had some. As far as SJB, I was hoping there is a water to bypass it, by splicing the correct wires. But I'm not finding the diagram for the connector to the hvac system with buttons.
