It took me 4 months to find this one, I guess it looks like I will be borrowing my dad's beater again. After owning this mustang, I know I either want this one back (I want this the most) or I will be in the market for another 05+ GT
Get another non wrecked car if at all possible, even really good body work will diminish your trade value down the road.

If they don't agree to it, get your insurance involved to talk some sense into them. Do not try to convince the other insurance company without help from yours if they start to fight you on it.
You read my mind, but.....
1. Value diminution on a 8 year old car will likely be low, Jan 2011 my 6 month old 2200 mile '10GT was hit with $8500 worth of damage and the diminished value I ended up getting back was $3500. Lawyer said if my car was more than a few years old the amount wouldn't have been WAY less.
2. Good luck getting your insurance to help on that, my insurance agent did nothing. I had to actually hire an attorney and file a claim for the diminished value.

I thought about this, but I plan on keeping this car long enough that the difference between "wrecked and repaired" and "never wrecked" would be very small.
