I found a set of bbk short headers and offroad xpipe for 400 and the guy put them on for free.
I called the guy and we agreed on $350 for the rims, I am picking them up today , I am so excited, i can hardly hold myself, i can't pick them up until 6 pm today

285/40 tires really need at least 9.5" wide wheels. This has more to do with heat generation in the sidewall due to normal tire flexing, and where in the sidewall the flexing concentrates the heat (this varies with wheel width) more than it does with how it behaves in "normal-traffic" driving.
Squeezing an overly wide tire onto any given wheel width tends to reduce steering precision and in particular dulls turn-in steering response when it's done up front. I don't think I'd ever mount 285-wide tires on anything less than 10" wide wheels.
Steven - Putting 295's or 305's on 9" wide rims is flat-out wrong and won't even look good to anybody who knows much about tires. Don't listen to anybody who tells you different; these tires are not supposed to look like 1960's 83-profile tires with huge amounts of sidewall bulging out past the wheel flanges.

I like my razors and they look and perform great with the right sizes.
I am running:
Nitto 555 Extreme - front: 255/45 R18
Nitto 555 Extreme - rear: 285/40 R18
I did have a staggered 40mm offset in the front and 24mm offset in the rear, but the 24mm caused some rubbing so I swapped them out and went 40mm all the way around. What offset are the ones your looking at buying?
Here is what those tires sizes look like..
I am running:
Nitto 555 Extreme - front: 255/45 R18
Nitto 555 Extreme - rear: 285/40 R18
I did have a staggered 40mm offset in the front and 24mm offset in the rear, but the 24mm caused some rubbing so I swapped them out and went 40mm all the way around. What offset are the ones your looking at buying?

On 9's, I'll still hold my recommendation for rear tire size to no more than 275/40's. They'd be a little over 1/4" shorter than the 255/45-18's up front, but I highly doubt you'd ever notice the difference between those two tire heights once they're on the car.
