Default Ford Racing heads

Plan on doing some valve train work on my 2008 gt, just wondering has anyone heard good or bad things about the Ford Racing heads on AM.

Thanks

Those are the FRPP Stage 1 ported heads. They work great and really help the motor breathe. You will need to get new lash adjusters and followers, unless you can clean your existing ones up real good. I added some beehive springs and retainers to mine before they were installed because it is far easier to do with the heads off the engine.

I've got them and can say they are a good product. I'm running them on a built motor putting out 650 rwhp. No issues at all.

Was thinking about these myself. Sounds like a good set.

Livernois heads are good, but if the FRPP's are in your budget I'd prefer them being they're new castings not reman used ones.

The Stage 1 FRPP heads are actually ported by Livernois for FRPP. Same for the Stage 3 heads, Livernois does all the work on them.

I'd rather do it right the first time remanufactured or not then to buy Stage 1 heads that will leave you wanting more and possibly be the restriction point later down the road. But thats just me!

Stage 3's can be tricky to install because of the size of the intake ports. Here are some pics of my Stage 1's.
