My side scoop flew off!
Was driving down I-495 from Baltimore and heard a loud POP! I looked in my rear view mirror and saw my passenger side scoop barely miss the car behind me. SMH...I don't think Cervini's sell one scoop pre-painted but I'm going to call them later today to check.
Which is why I wouldn't use the Cervini's. Anything with an opening with nowhere for the air to exit is bound to have problems if it's only held on by 3M tape.
I installed my louvers 3 years ago and have never had an issue. I waited for a ht day to put mine on and I still used a blow dryer
Lol flew off ricer style!
Now just drive around really fast until the other side breaks loose and flies away, problem solved.

You (everyone) have to be very careful and follow the instructions for a proper install with 3M tape. The surface prep and cure time/temp are 95% of a proper install.
I've done more 140+ mph runs with my scoops with no problems. It's all in the prep.
Old pic before scoops installed. :-) |
Side scoops are stoopid. Take notes from the GT500. No non functional anything anywhere (except maybe the rear "diffuser")
I agree
