Default V6 Exhaust Difference; Pypes True Dual vs Pypes Mid Muffler

Soon enough I'll be converting to dual exhaust on my 07 v6. I've been looking at the pypes dual exhaust conversion from American Muscle. Unless you have any other dual exhaust conversions in mind, let me know!

I was wondering what the huge difference is between the Pypes True Dual exhaust kit
(http://www.americanmuscle.com/pypes-...l-catback.html)
vs the Pypes Mid-Muffler kit?

I understand that one is mid muffler which means less drone and possibly more power, but will this make much of a difference? Will $100 really make much of a difference? Tell me your thoughts.
Thanks guys

Don't get pypes, fitment and customer service are shiz. Sure AM has great service but you'll need it for when you return the kit for a refund.

Get a GT takeoff kit.

If you absolutely must get pypes, get the mid-pipe muffler kit. It will make the car sound more oldschool.

If you do get either system...
Just have a cuttoff wheel available (to cut the pipes where needed), some vice-grips (to bend hangers), some beer (to take the edge off the frustration), and lots and lots of patcience.

Both of these Systems will sound great on your V6. However, I agree that the Mid Muffler system will give you less drone and definitely gives the car an old school sound to it!

Please let me know if I can be of any assistance or if you have any questions!

So people have fitting problems with the pypes? The American muscle website gives good reviews. What should I lean towards in mind of a dual conversion? What should I be weary of with the Pypes?
Thanks

Fitment is the issue, cats, you will need to buy 1 or eliminate the one you have. The
sound of the end result will be nice, any way you do it. Have you considered Dynomax
or Bassanni?

Havent thought about those, I need to do some more research. Gotta figure this out! Those bassani's look pretty badass, I like they way they flow under the car; nice fitment and all
