2011+ gauge cluster with white faces?
Hey guys,
I noticed something at a cruise night with the local club that got me scratching my head. A guy there had a 2011 GT premium vert with white-faced gauges (speedo and tach). His car had Brembos and the tech package, if it matters... I guess I had always assumed these cars only had black-faced guages like my '12 V6. Do any of you guys know what package/option might have spec'd the white faces, or how might I get me some? They looked sweet:icon_cool: |
We're car shopping at the moment, we've only looked at 11/12 Premiums so far, and they've all had white faced gauges.

400A and 401A Premiums have white face gauges.
|
Yeah, have to get a premium

I had the white gauges in my 2012 and hated them .. they looked out of place. Swapped them to black from a base car overlay. I have the 2013 gauges now so they are also black.
I'll sell you my 2012 cluster as shown in this picture. Not sure if you car would have the wiring to control the MYCOLOR though. Cluster has around 6800 miles on it. If you are interested I'll explain where the 2 wire would be. http://pics.dmhines.com/mustang/blackcluster1.jpg http://pics.dmhines.com/mustang/blackcluster2.jpg |
That reminds me, I'd like to get the speedo and tach from the '14 GT...

Wow, thanks for the replies guys, I guess I should've done a little more research (google failed me!). I had the owner of the 'vert wondering as well, as the '13 Roush and the '10 GT that were there as well had black face gauges.

So, correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought i read that the mileage is stored inside the car, ecu or something I can't remember, and that swapping your gauge with a different one will still display YOUR cars actual mileage.
