Engine Fail Safe Again?
I'm having an issue with my 05 GT going in to the " Engine Fail Safe Mode" when I
jump on it and run her hard? the car will only go about 5 Mph and when I shut
the Motor off and start it up again it will run OK? I put my Code reader on it and
it said it Passed with No Codes? How is this possible? there has to be a reason
why this happens. It sucks having to drive my car and Not have any fun. Does,
anybody have an idea what the problem may be? I only have minor after market
Hi-Perf parts BBK Throttle Body, C&L Intake W/ Tune, MSD Coils and BBK
under drive pulleys and all of these parts have been on for years with No issues
until recently.

I agree, have been a boat load of concerns with BBK unit. Chuck it. As for code reader it will only read current key cycle concerns if there is no check engine light on at the time of the reading it will pass. You need a full scanner to check such concerns with no CEL.

Scrap the BBK. Infact spending money on any upgraded TB (FRPP or other) with a fairly stock car is a waste of money.
If you have your old TB put it back on. Bet the problem goes away. If you don't have the old one, does your code reader have data logging capabilties? Data log while you drive and then review the data to see what the issue is.
