Best way to adjust J&M aluminum panhard?
I have the J&M Aluminum panhard bar and I realized just in the last couple weeks that the axle is shifted over a bit due to the springs in the back and needs adjusted.
I heard the J&M is kind of a pain in the *** to adjust on the car because the one jam nut is up inside the mounting bracket on the chassis end and you can't get a wrench on it.
What's the best way to do this?

You don't necessarily need to get a wrench on it. Just loosen the other side and turn the bar to loosen the other jam nut. Now tightening it could be a problem.
You really need to adjust it on the car for fine adjustments.

$99 for the FRPP bar - I'm all over that like white on rice.

Yeah, it's a pain in the butt but can be done. Follow Moosestang's directions. Worked for me. I think even J&M realizes it was a stupid design as their revised version now moves the jam nut further away from the mount itself.

I've had to adjust one of these in the past and it was a freakin pain. Best advice is to put it on the car, adjust the bar, lock the jam nuts as best, drop the bar, tighten the jam nuts better and then reinstall.
This is why I recommend the BMR PHR006 adjustable bar. Easy to install & even easier to adjust, while on the car.
The one in the link that jsimmonstx posted is similar to the BMR....and the price is actually very reasonable.

I have the J&M which I believe is the newer design. I adjusted it myself, 1/2" to
the drivers side centered my rear end. My lube shop got wrench's on it to firm
the nuts for me. No problems so far, you may use some blue loc-tite to be sure.
