Default Sorry to break it to ya... TOTALED

So, after the posts I've seen of people having their cars totaled, I joined the club. I was driving home from work yesterday when a drunk driver ran a red light and smashed my front end in. My light had just turned green, and as i got halfway through the intersection, a sedan appeared out of no where coming from my left, perpendicular to my lane, and hit the front of my car. Airbags deployed, frames bent, etc. My brothers a mechanic and says hes pretty sure its done. I'm fine, no damages to myself which i am truly grateful for; only thing on my mind was how I'd break the news to the parents, as it was mothers day.
So, my baby's ruined... Others would just say, oh its a car, i can get another, insurance will cover it. but this is my first car; my pride and joy, ive put 2 years of parts, detailing, and love into this machine; its crazy how it can be taken away in the split of a second.
I guess its time to think positive and consider a new car; I can't afford a gt, but i may go with the 2011+v6. We'll just see what I can get back on the car from insurance.
You'd never expect it to happen to you. Theres a lot of stupid drivers out there. Take extra care out there guys and gals, you never know when you'll be in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Dang..... That SUCKS! Did you get out and beat the shat out of the guy that hit you? You're right, it only takes a second and it could be all gone in a flash. Thats good that you're not hurt.

Nice so not only will they get him on a DUI but also a Hit And Run. That's going to be some serious jail time for that. Should take out a lawsuit on him for the hit and run that might get you that GT.

Sorry to see such a beautiful Mustang taken out by a drunk.

Just as a suggestion I would take everything off the car that you installed and sell them.

The 11+ v6's are very impressive and can be had very reasonably priced. Good luck.
