I've heard/read this dozens and dozens on times.

What in the heck makes people think exhaust systems break-in?

Over time the resin buildup from burnt fuel will catch on the inside of the exhaust and give it a deeper rumble; I experienced it on my sixxer as well as my dads gt

Love the Roush exhaust on my 13. I went a step above and removed the resonators. Nice and loud but not off-road loud. Perfect balance!

Nope, they don't get any quieter. I say give it time and you will probably begin to like the sound.

I'm surprised that you say the Roush is too loud. Obviously, everyone has their own opinion on what is too loud, but most think that the Roush is right in the middle. Louder than stock, but not the loudest. Are you talking about in-car volume, or the neighbors started to complain?

they are only loud after a cold start imo, unless you dont have resonators or dont have cats

are the axleback mufflers your only exhaust mod?

Had Roush on my 5.0, several of my buddies have them and I think it is the sweetest sounded axleback made.

I have them on mine as well and love the sound but they are loud. I think most folks that post saying they are too loud end up with GT500's. I plastidip'd the tips, looks great.
