Default Rebuild kit for Hurst billet shifter?

It's only a couple years old.. the ball has quite a bit of play.. it's really getting annoying rattle wise...

I can't find a rebuild kit... All I can find is you have to send it back, and that cost more than just replacing it..

Any leads other than do a different shifter?

Put penetrating oil around the top of the pivot ball. It tends to flow down in and fill the gaps that are allowing it to rattle.

Called Hurst. Only fix is a new shifter, or just listen to it rattle. Poop.

Probably should. Have way too many things to spend money on at the moment. I might try and take this apart to see if I can shim it some how...

Guy at Hurst was real helpful.. "Yeah, that don't normally happen. Too bad it wasn't the B&M brand, those are warranted for life".. :eyeroll:

I was pissed when I saw "made in China" on the box when I got mine.
