brake and clutch pedal assembly help
So I'm replacing the broken clutch master cylinder, you need to take the brake and clutch pedal assembly out, which is a pain, but possible. Anyway, now I am sitting with my back on the floor of the car and the driver seat out wondering why I just can't get it back up and over the brake booster bolts
Any ideas on what I can try short of calling a shop?

Have the same year car but no experience in replacing that.
Are you having trouble with the Master or pedal assembly?
Since you're doing the operation in reverse it should go right back in but sometimes things come off easier than going back on...
You might have to loosen the booster to get the desire room.

Very true! As this is the first car I bought since moving to the US (and if I'm honest, the first decent one), I really want to hang onto it and hand it down to one of my children once we have kids and they're old enough to drive... the favorite one of course
My experience this weekend did reinforce my wish to keep the car though, despite how difficult it was at times...

I know you're a Brit (OT posts) and me a frenchy so we're neighbors.
I like domestic cars because they're simpler to work on and stronger built in the event of a crash.
I won't touch a Chrysler and hardly a GM though...
