Default exhaust decision for my 05 4.0 need help asap

i am considering two systems a gibson catback exhaust system or either a gibson or slp loudmouth axelback exhaust system ...are there any benefits of the catback to the axelback? the catlback is $365 the axelback gibson $199 slp $225....looking to add headers at some point as well so will that make a difference....any other advice is greatly appreciated for one system to another

If "by making a difference" you mean any gains then, no. You will minimal if any HP gains from an exhaust set-up for our 6s, catback or otherwise. Pick whatever you like sounds best and go with that because you really won't see any gains in performance.

So_Cali has good advice. Go with whichever you feel sounds the best. Also, having an axleback or catback won't affect fitment if headers are added down the road, either. So no worries there!

Would the cat back convert them to duals? The axle back system will just replace the single muffler.... All depends on what you want.

I'd get a tuner before a CAI, or if you can swing it get both of them.
