new tune with 4:10 gears

Default new tune with 4:10 gears

ok guys i just installed my 4:10 geaars in my car now my question is i had a new tune e mailed to me and i installed the new tune for my car and i did mention i have 4:10 in the question so do i have to still manually change it with the bama tunner? or is it already changed because i mentioned 4:10s in the list of my new tune?

Bama should have it changed. Normal easy acceleration should have you shifting every 10 mph or so.

If you told the Bama team you had 4.10's we would definitely have adjusted your tune for it! If you'd like to be sure, you can view the options tab on your device, or give the Bama team a call and we can double check for you.

Our Bama Performance tuning specialists are here in the building Monday-Friday from 9AM-5:30PM EST and Saturday 9AM-5:30PM EST. You can hit them up directly at 888.226.9764 and they'll get you squared away!

Tuning for gears isn't just about adjusting the setting in the tune (which is user-adjustable). Proper tuning also adjusts other parameters related to the new shift points, IIRC.
