Default need help with the dr side sideview mirror harness 2005 gt

Hello all, first post here. I bought the retro mirrors for my car and when I tried to put them on, the drivers side motor didn't match the pictures. I then looked at the pass side and it did. Apparently someone put some cheap aftermarket mirror on. So I got online and ordered the factory motor. It came in today and I couldn't for the life of me figure out how to plug in the harness. Went back to the pictures and discovered that the in mirror harness is different! The aftermarket motor has a small flat plug and the new motor has some sort of wide clip on connector with four prongs that go into the motor. I looked at the vendor who I bought the motor from and they show a bit of a diagram which doesn't show the harness. Does anyone have a parts manual who could look and see if this harness is available. Not sure what to do outside buying a mirror for the harness.
Thanks,
John

Couldn't you just make a short set of wires up to go to the motor? You are only talking about 4-5 inches of length. Maybe going to a wrecking yard and pulling the wiring out of a broken Ford mirror. I'm sure the Fusions, and etc have similar wiring for the mirrors. Just a thought.

Thanks for the link to the manuals Vixr, and Akdoggie, yes I thought about that but I know wrecking yards can be funny about taking parts off doors but like you said if I can find one on a broken mirror that would work. I recall when I bought the motor, on the page it had the other vehicles the motor fits which was a large list including trucks and SUV's so I think the motor might be pretty standard and I could clip it off, and wire it to the lower half of the after market harness in my mirror now. Who'd have thought upgrading mirrors would be such a hassle! :-)
