Default Need your help finding a part...

Hey guys,

I am trying to buy a set of Halos for my car: 2006 Mustang. However, this is proving very difficult.

AmericanMuscle has a set of SMOKED halos that have the right color of the halo I want. But all they offer is smoked. I don't want those. I want a regular black housing headlight with Halos. http://www.americanmuscle.com/smoked...ghts-0509.html
AM use to sell the standard ones but for some reason they stopped.

I found a few on other venders, but they don't have pictures of them on or installed or anything. For example, here is Cjpony: http://www.cjponyparts.com/halo-head...-2009/p/HLA52/
Now I am not really sure, but these don't look like anything close to what AM has.

I have found a few on ebay, but I am not sure of the quality, the brightness or how the color really is. Examples...http://www.ebay.com/itm/370661999473...84.m1423.l2649

http://www.ebay.com/itm/400304911933...84.m1423.l2649

If anyone knows where I can get a good set that look like AM that are not smoked or has a set they bought and never installed, please let me know. I would like to get this done ASAP.

Thank you for your time.

The ones on AM are CCFL types. Here's a CCFL with clear lense on Ebay...
http://www.ebay.com/itm/2005-2009-FORD-MUSTANG-HEADLIGHTS-BLACK-CCFL-HALO-06-07-/321150468950?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&fits=Year%3A2005%7CModel%3AMustang&hash=item4ac60f4356&vxp=mtr
Don't get LED type halos. The LEDs aren't bright enough. I used to have CCFL halos for my headlights and fogs but got rid of them.

I'm sorry to hear that you're not interested in the Smoked halo lights we carry. I can definitely put in a product suggestion to see about bringing the clear lens halo light back in!

Thanks for the suggestion and best of luck on your search for now!

I have seen the ones on ebay, but they cost so much less that I wonder how good they actually are.

Thanks AM. Do you know when you will hear back from the higher ups to when you might get them or at all?
