06 gt auto trans help

Okay so i just got my auto trans in today and im new to the newer mustangs and saw a red plastic plug on the side what in the heck is that for? A dipstick?

Not sure what your talking about. Do you have a pic of it? Our trans did not come with a dipstick.

There was a red rubber plug i pulled it off and theres a spot to plug the transmisson harness in on the driver side of trans
