I got 32.2 MPG!

It was the on board computer. I did not refill the tank so there was no way to calculate. It did include some stop and go but was mostly highway. There is a very big mountain between Alamogordo and Roswell so LOTS of elevation change. Even if the estimate was 2 MPG high, I am still surprised.

White Sands makes a great back drop for your Mustang ..... nice pics!

I recall pulling over after noticing the broadening white line behind me, the light reflected off the sands was obscuring the mountains on the other side .... awesome place.

This!

But really, 30 MPG is pretty impressive. I find my average tank to tank to end up being about 19-20 MPG. I think I got upper 20s one time on the drive home when I barely touched the gas at all.
